Inner Sun: Dreaming Back

Inner Sun: Dreaming Back
4 – 11 June 2026, 12 – 4pm, Raasay Hall, free, all ages
Opening Brunch: 6 June 10 – 1pm

Inner Sun: Dreaming Back is a new immersive exhibition by Mexican artist Daniel Godínez Nivón, filling the village Hall in Raasay. Drawing on shared stories, workshops, and reflections following his residencies across Raasay, Skye, and Lochalsh in 2025 and 2026, the exhibition includes drawing, poetry, and a huge fabric installation, as well as activities and aids for remembering how to dream.

Daniel is a visual artist whose work explores the ties between dreaming, community, and the natural world, asking how dreams illuminate environmental crises and spark collective imagination. The Dreaming Back exhibition brings together these ideas in a sensory environment of sound, scent, and soft exploration, open to all.

All are welcome to pop in for a quiet moment or settle in for the afternoon. Open daily 4 – 11 June 2026, 12 – 4pm, except 6th June for the Dreaming Back Brunch 10am – 1pm for food, conversation, and a warm welcome into the transformed space.
